Cocoa Tea is a rich natural chocolate breakfast drink. Goes well with "bakes 'n saltfish souse".
Ingredients
4 sticks/balls cocoa
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 small piece cinnamon
4 cups water
1 vanilla pod
sugar, to taste
Method
Grate or break cocoa sticks/balls and add to sauce pan with water, nutmeg and cinnamon. When cocoa is melted, add additional water and milk. Taste and add sugar, if desired. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Serving
Pour into enamel cups and serve hot.
